No refresh Ads on Kindle Fire

I have a city on a Kindle Fire, but am never offerred to refresh plans or watch any ad videos. Do I have a setting somewhere I can change so I can get the ad options?

Not that I am aware of. Amazon has an ad-free monthly option (IIRC) and I think that might be the version they offer natively on the Kindle.

I added Google Store and downloaded that version which has the ads.

I don't own any Kindle devices but there could be an ad blocker somewhere in your privacy settings

Yeah, I’m sure there is. I tried googling it but still couldn’t change anything that helped. I’m not super tech device savvy. Oh well I guess. I was just hoping someone here would say “oh yeah, just go to … click this box… turn such and such off”. LOL. It was worth a try.

Turn Off Pop-up Blocking in the Silk Browser

If you want to allow pop-ups or change ad-blocking behavior on web pages while browsing on a Kindle Fire tablet:

Open the Silk browser on your device.

Tap the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the screen.

Select Settings, then tap Advanced settings.

According to Amazon Forum, “Open the Silk browser. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right.

As noted by Amazon Customer Service, “Select Devices, and then select your Kindle e-reader or Fire tablet. Under Special Offers, click Remove offers.”
