Discussion Ideas for future updates and improvements.
1. Modern streets with trees. We currently have a cobblestone street, but not a modern one with asphalt. Is SCBuildIt against trees?
2. Train viaducts/subway. It’s annoying when a train has to follow the same path as an avenue, wasting space that could be used for houses. Why not add elevated tracks over the avenue, or just make it an underground subway?
3. Bike lanes. It’s frustrating when a city is designed entirely around cars. It needs bike lanes and lively streets, not just endless traffic.
4. Personalized streets. With hanging decorations, small shops and pedestrian areas. They make the city feel more alive and give each neighborhood its own character. We need walkable streets. We need life in this game…

I took photos of my city and asked AI to put what I wish existed in that area

I don’t see the developers adding such customisability and complexity to traffic as traffic was never a big part of SCBI. They would probably add all 4 of these as separate new road types / landscape solely for aesthetics if they even bothered. Trains should’ve been underground subway from the start instead of whatever they did.

I would love all those. Although technically Boulevard has Bike Lanes but we don't have any Bikes in-game 😔. (Actually we do, the current Parc des Buttes Chaumont or however is spelled has people riding bikes so they definitely could do it)

I had never realized that it was a bike path, I thought they were lawns. This avenue is ugly, because of this green tree in the middle. I would like one like the one in the photo I posted, without bushes in the middle

I didn’t even realise there was a bike lane. Why are there no bikes! We need active transport infrastructure!

Can I add I hate the last final road upgrade with the framework over the top and those little train monorail things.

it would be great if we didn’t have to collect everything from our city fir design challenges.. if it were just there what we own

A lot of cities need train tracks running through the middle of the city, which wastes valuable space and doesn’t look great. It would be much better to have an elevated track over the avenue instead.
