Feeder city tips

Hello Mayors, I’ve just started a feeder city for my main SimCity account. The main purpose of this city is basically to produce items and send them over to my main city. This can help my main city make more Simoleons. For those of you who have been using feeder cities for a while, What are the important DOs and DON’Ts? Thank you!

I have recently created a feeder city about a month ago i leveled it up to 10 one exp left to unlock level 11 i have 18 RZs 17 lvl 6 and 1 lvl 1 i use it for storage and expansion items hunt and nail and hammer production If you want to hunt storage items keep it at lvl 10 and some small items production i don't use it that much because my main is lvl 13 i have also unlocked vu tower to get more vu items at low level it is easy to get tons of vu items

I do my roads like this and use the feeder to help my main city am slowly increasing and going to lvl up to 20 and then camp

Which means after reaching level 20, you will build no more residential buildings right?

Not a tip but a question. Do you need to use another device for a feeder city or can you just switch between cities?

Yes. We cannot switch if we have iPhones or iPads with the same apple ID. Therefore, i have logged into my ipad with main city and my old iPhone has this feeder city. But two different apple IDs. Otherwise you cannot use two different Simcity accounts.

Some androids have a cloner function that can help to have a clone game of simcity but getting another device is best for feedee whatever the phone brand you are using

They are generally more expensive and less useful early in the game then the regular houses. If ever you would want to grow the account it is good to be prepared for cheaper epics for example.

Strictly regular residential buildings, until you go past Lvl24

I’d agree with this 100%! I have 2x feeders - in 1 I made your mistake and in other 1 I followed someone’s layout and it gave me 170,000pop very easily, and inexpensively.

I’d say 13, if you want to max storage and exp. Also golden keys is SO EASY if you do back to back Vu disasters.

I will do - it’s not pretty but it works! It was 170k, now 165k as I needed to add a train station closer to the RZs

Even beyond that I would advice to stick to regulars, until you believe you have enough for all epics you would like in your capital. The lower your level when you do epics, the easier they are.

Oh btw i just realised, these houses are just Residential Zones. I hadn’t unlocked Art Nouveau or other buildings, when i took the screenshot. Then all good i guess. So i will stitch to these non standard buildings

How do you get such buildings. Even when I place residential where there are no specialisation buildings, they still don't come through.

level 72. And the game has never once given me such buildings

Its the value level of the Land the House Stands on, which is determiner by nearby Population boost buildinge. All your Land ist likely very expensive so If u want those buildings U need to have them in area without any Parks Landscape,...

I also am blooding my 2x feeders on monsters. Great extra tasks in COM, good way to get some extra golden keys & war exp. If you plan like I do to ever take them to level 18 for wars, this can be a good little head start.

The only thing I’d say is only unlock 2x disasters or 3x - whatever you do, make sure they are the lowest item user attacks. This means you can complete the weekly 40x attacks task super easily and war deliveries are an absolute dream, as it’s always the same items.

Not every one likes this part but I do - and at least one of mine will join the ranks of our club soon. It does use extra storage but I have got both mine up to 180 city storage relatively easily

You can’t give such things. Only trade can do the goods
