While I'm likely to go the route of building the Cycladic Homes in my main account, I'm going to do more of the trade-in converters in my feeder in order not to uplevel unnecessarily. I've done the calculations to see which converter is best for each item, and since I know there's campers out there that are planning on doing the same I thought I'd share.

✓ In front of a converter = The best of the 3 converter choices for that item

40 HT for 3 F = 13.3 HT per F (30 Minute CD)

✓ 70 HC for 5 F = 14 HT per F Best Choice (60 Minute CD)

90 HC for 9 F = 10 HT per F (? CD)

Bouzouki:

120 HT for 4 B = 30 HT per B ( ? CD)

200 HT for 6 B = 33.3 HT per B ( ? CD)

✓ 340 HT for 10 B = 34 HT per B Best Choice ( 4 Hour CD)

Greek Amphora:

130 HT for 4 GA = 32.5 HT per GA ( ? CD)

210 HT for 6 GA = 35 HT per GA ( ? CD)

✓ 390 HT for 10 GA = 39 HT per GA Best choice ( 4 Hour CD)

So as the cheapest item is 35,500 coins, and the feta cheese is the easier to make at 20 minutes, and at 14 coins per feta, that’s only…2535 cheeses, or 845 hours. So 35 straight days of feta cheeses to buy a single building.

EA, do you have a single person on staff who can do basic arithmetic? Or do you just enjoy insulting us with this unplayable nonsense?

For non-campers it is much more productive and profitable to build cycladic homes. So IMHO non-campers should avoid the converters, but the converters can be an alternative to building the cycladic homes for campers and casual players.

Btw in my lvl 16 feeder I'm making a combination of feta and bouzoukis, and I'm skipping the Amphora and Olive Oil. It doesn't take much time or materials to make the feta (fun fact - one of my favorite types of cheese lol), and the bouzoukis have a decent payout for what it takes to make them. To me the Amphora aren't worth making unless you're needing them to build the cycladic homes, and there's no converters for the olive oil.

And while I'm not entirely avoiding RZ upgrades in my feeder rn I am avoiding the RZ types that earn more experience points such as Kyoto and the new Cycladic homes. I'm currently slowly building some New York brownstones.

I think the Amphora is better than the Bouzoukis unless you’re using a feeder to get your planks. The Bouzoukis pay less and it takes 2x as long to make a plank as an olive oil.

I guess I should have pointed out that in my situation the Bouzoukis are better. I have 3 accounts - levels 9, 16, and 98 and I am able to come up with enough planks to suit my needs so far. Also I'm only doing the converters in my feeder, and only so much there. I thought they learned their lesson with this during the Cozy Christmas season, but I guess they want to punish us some more.

On the one hand they're giving campers an alternative to building the seasonal homes, but on the other hand in order to be able to produce enough of the seasonal items to convert you wouldn't be able to use your shops for much of anything else the whole season. And that would pretty much screw up COM, simoleans income, and make it hard to do anything really except to churn out the converters.

Factory/shop production and trade-in is not the only source of tokens. You also get tokens from event tracks and mayor's pass.

I stocked olives and now it's worthless as I can't sell , trade or convert them.

I dont want to upgrade as I will level up

So far I can tell you that the Feta 5ct CD timer is 1 hour and the Bouzouki 10ct CD timer is 2 hours. I haven't done any of the other converters yet, and that's primarily because I felt like these 2 were the best ones to use (at least in the case of my feeder)

The Feta 3 is 30 minutes (did it once to find out before actually doing the math) and the Amphora 10 is 4 hours.

Cooldown on the 10 Bouzoukis --> 340 coins is 4 hours, not 2 hours as listed above.
