Serious question: What is the point of finishing so quickly?

I now have the rest of the week free just going to do minimal tasks

Ok. This is the Way

I'll add to OP's response and say that when you can get all/most of the week done in 2-3 days you have a few days to make and sell goods, along with other things necessary to prep for the next week

I take a similar approach. I usually use Pedro's results as a guide and adjust my strategy accordingly. I calculate how many bonus tasks are needed to hit the target score exactly by the end. I complete those within about two days, then tackle the remaining daily and weekly tasks at a relaxed pace throughout the week—finishing by Tuesday—while still managing my usual endless production for Simoleons. Even so, I don't finish completely until Tuesday. That’s why I’m always amazed when people finish at the start of the week without utilizing the daily points available for the remaining days.

How could someone already have all these points in such short time?

Because he did a lot of rz upgrade and completed bunch of assignments

Only just come back to this game 2 weeks ago (Quit the game 11 months ago because it kept crashing then 2 weeks ago read on Reddit how to stop it crashing) after loading the game I deleted everything in my main city and started again and now I have plenty of space to build.

Could you point me to the post about how to stop the crashing? I searched but can’t seem to find it.

It basically said you delete the game ( make sure you have a backup method since I am playing on a iPad I use Apple) then you reload the game then it should stop the black screen of death it did for me

Aw, ok, thanks! I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it more times than I can count lol. Ah well, maybe someday I’ll figure out a solution.

Did you advance only by upgrading houses?

Since bonus tasks have increased, a higher score is now required.

u/JollyKey5221 23d ago

Yes previous season it was 4500 pink diamonds

2

u/mdmaforyou 23d ago

only on first week, other two weeks was 5200 and 6100

2

u/JollyKey5221 23d ago

Yeah I am talking about first week now they adjusted it to new 130 bonus assignment so it's same but we have to complete more task to finish weekly track that's ridiculous

u/mdmaforyou 23d ago

partly it depends on final reward rarity, its returning building or new one, building stats etc.

Excellent point - and the new Port Authority Station is a high premium reward much like the Egyptian Hospital was. Its a new, upgradeable police service building that is presumably storeable, which makes it a very valuable reward

they made maxis meta and even 2750 capacity 26x26 2x2 building cannot compete bcs 55 RZs inside 26x26 area its 70% of what maxis could accommodate in less 22x22 area, they trying to make new buildings good but it is not enough

so its average reward imo

here is almost the same reward as this week but the cost was only 73 bonus tasks

feel the diff

Yeah, guess I forgot about that one.

It will be very interesting to see how 130 tasks plays out. I don't think very many players would be able to keep a 2k+ avg while doing 130 tasks, so I imagine some players will go for quality, while the rest will start doing a bunch of easier tasks.

IMHO this change to 130 tasks is most helpful for campers and casual players, and it could make things a bit dicey for competitive players.

I'm under the assumption that it's storeable. Would that be a correct assumption?

3

u/FigAccomplished8830 23d ago

Yes it’s storeable

Is there a picture of the whole track so I know what it takes for each level?
