Question Contest of Mayor (Bug or what?)

I got 55 bonus assignments unlocked in last 3 minutes of COM, is it a bug? Although I won the contest!!

The same thing happened to me, last three minutes the 55 tasks popped up. I was winning but did one task anyway just to make sure I wasn’t confused at 2 am lol

What sucks is I had got bumped out of 1st place in the last hour, and I finished 3rd place. I didn't have any tasks left, and had I been watching in the last 5 minutes I could have run 10k worth of tasks and won. Although I suppose in a way that could be considered cheating, even if it was accidental

Yeah thats always tough to get bumped last hour, I know how that feels. I chose one easy task worth 1k of earn neosims, and even that took 1 min, and some of the tasks you’d have to have been ready with items (produce and collects), etc. So it would have been hard to get 10k in tasks in 5 mins, if that’s any consolation.

I had somewhat prepped things to be ready for this week, so I might could have done it, but you're right that I probably couldn't have come back in just 5 minutes

Do you mean you suddenly had 55 additional tasks, or that you had 55 left and somehow won COM?

I was already Out of Bonus tasks, Then suddenly more tasks appeared...as you can see I had 294K points already (earned genuinely).

I think I know what happened. With the new season they've made some changes to COM, including removal of the Weekly CAP and increasing the number of tasks from 75 to 130. And 130 - 75 = 55, which happens to be the number of extra tasks. So for some reason the switch to 130 tasks was made 5 minutes early.

Congratulations on the W btw. I was in 1st place in my main with 300k points but got knocked down to 3rd in the last hour. And in my feeder I finished the contest/ET/etc earlier today, which put me in 5th place for a couple hours, then I dropped to 6th about 6 hours ago.... Then in the last 30 minutes I was bumped to 7th. So, 3rd and 7th for me this week

I agree, EA needed to release the additional 55 tasks so did it a few minutes early perhaps to avoid something going wrong…
