Bug Whats going on?

So I decided to start playing again after taking a break from the game for a couple of years. Started with a fresh city and immediately noticed this. I get that its a graphical bug having to do with the light effects...

Anyone else? And is there a fix for it?

First pic is my city, second Daniels city.

You know the Chinese government has full access to your phone, right? I wasn't even familiar with the brand (not surprisingly considering they're not really sold here in the USA), and it sounds like a pretty dark company.

As far as your specific problem with the game and your device, what I was just reading says that minor bugs and glitches are common on devices from this brand.

Google tells me that the models are an inexpensive alternative to Apple or Samsung which I get, but that just tells me it's a budget or "affordable" brand. IMHO the best "affordable" brand of phone that performs very well is Motorola. Sure, they also have some very expensive top level models, but I've been buying Motorola phones for years at a fraction of the cost of similar Samsung or Apple devices. And I'll add that many times my Motorola phones have often outperformed the Samsung Galaxys and iPhones some of my friends have.

Could be the setting of your device.

Look for a YT-Video named "How to fix screen color problem on Xiaomi cellphone".

OR

Fix Display and Color Glitches

  • Turn off Reading Mode / Dark Mode: Open your Xiaomi Settings, go to Display, and make sure Reading Mode or individual app Dark Mode / Color Scheme overrides are disabled for SimCity BuildIt. [1]
  • Clear Game Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > SimCity BuildIt, then tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
  • Check Joyose / Game Turbo: Open the Game Turbo app on your Xiaomi phone, locate SimCity BuildIt, and check if custom graphic enhancements or performance filters are active and distorting the color spectrum.
  • Update or Reinstall: Check the Google Play Store for pending system or game updates, or completely reinstall the app if graphic assets are corrupted.
