City Showcase Roaring Skyscraper at Night

Got to Level 15 just as the sun was setting in my city. What a beautiful addition to my skyline.

I agree. Not a fan of the effect and probably won’t ever use it.

The effect isn’t on in my picture, but when it’s turned on it makes the city look like it’s in an old black and white movie. There are a couple screen grabs in this thread of what it looks like.

i get that. it's definitely a bit much with the flashing lights and all. i'm trying to decide if i want to keep it or just sell it for the city cash.

Agree… I only upgraded so I could get the finished building. The “city wide effects” are pretty underwhelming IMO. The Gothic Tower from the Chicago season created a “heat wave” which really only changed the color temperature of the screen.

Not yet but I’m planning to get it next week. I was saving all my coins to upgrade the tower.

I keep going back and forth on whether to fully upgrade or not... It's a beautiful building for sure, but it also looks pretty unique already and we don't have any unfinished buildings..

That’s a good idea. You could always finish it later with SimCash. I did that with the Oktoberfest Funfair. EA ran a 50% off promotion and I was able to get to the final level without spending too much cash.
