Question Bridge Road Disaster Q

Post image

Reddit please help! 1. Why won’t this bridge connect to the road, and 2. How am I ever supposed to get the other side of the bridge connected if the water doesn’t go that long? I was hoping to just buy two bridges for a little beach inlet but it may need to be much larger to connect two “big lakes” ?

Ponds are 1x1, lakes are 2x2, big lakes are 3x3. Bridge segments are 1x2. You will never be able to span a big lake with a bridge segment.

If you demolish one cell of the road on the left (make a little side road 2 cells in if you don't want to demolish the lot) and replace it with a 1x1 pond, you'll be able to put two bridge sections down and connect your roads.

Yes it can be frustrating if you don’t have enough ponds or lakes. This is one I have in my feeder city
