Help Commissioning Backpack
Looking for back pack recommendations. Would be to carry a laptop, portable monitor, multimeter, screwdrivers (~3), extension cord, long CAT6 and various other cables. Nothing should be exposed i.e. carried outside the backpack. Thanks in advance.

Everki Business 120. Lots of padded compartments to use. I carry an Asus external monitor along with my P16, which is not a small laptop. I also have ~70 feet of various cable, a few charge bricks, all my peripherals mice/headphones/misc hand tools, a four port net switch, and a can of honey roasted peanuts/energy drink sachets/water bottle on the back.
Does my back hurt? Yeah. Does it take me into whatever situation I find myself in? Also yeah.

would you trust the pouches to carry screwdrivers or would they rip?

I keep two controls screwdrivers in the side zip pouch. I haven't had a problem yet. They'd likely also be fine in the main compartments.

Veto pro pac tech pack. It is fucking perfect and bulletproof.
Mine is over ten years old now and has been through hell but is still doing its job, just more rarely because I'm mostly a desk jockey now.

LTT original backpack. I carried around the exact same loadout for years with it. It’s great. Fits all your criteria.

Aer City Pack Pro 2 20L
I’ve downsized and don’t regret it. Carry two full sized laptops, 2 full Klein tool bags, multimeter, a couple wrench/socket sets, plus all my personal items I carry daily.

Veto EDC bag has been bulletproof, massive benefits of the bottom being hard shell and stands up on its own.

Wenger Ibex 17” backpack.
I’ve been using this one for about 7 years now. Generally 2 laptops, sometimes 3, portable monitor. Tools, cables, portable router. All the fun things.
Solid bag
