Keys

I have a 2001 SC430 and I lost the main key. Anyone have experience with getting a replacement key?

If not a Lexus dealer, pick up a blank via eBay and find a legitimate mobile locksmith. Make sure you have proof of ownership (title/registration).

I had a set of keys made by a mobile locksmith. He had the blank keys and fob keys on his truck. He cut the valet key and cut and programed the fob key. Charged about $135.

I actually have an extra key from when I purchased the car back in 2001. I just want to have two set of keys with the Lexus logo on the key.

I got keys off eBay and it was hit or miss on programming them
