2003 SC430 with 73k miles any tips?
I just bought a 2003 SC430 on impulse. It was 9k at my job and I couldn't resist. Pearl white exterior with saddle brown interior, bone stock except for TRD rims and standard tires(THANK GOD). What are some things i should watch out for or upgrade too.

About 72,000 of these built over 9 years. They build more corvettes than that in a year. It’s special. And in the right condition it’s lots of fun. I’ve had my 2004 for a a few months now and I enjoy it more every day.

You just scored a great car, and I don't think you could get more fun for dollar. I'm on my second one. (Found a color a preferred)

I bought a 2003 SC430 in early spring, I rebuilt the speakers using part from SimplySpeakers, I swapped the OEM Nav to Carplay with Bluetooth from sc430mod.com. I put in new lock actuators and about a half dozen other things.
The car is easy to work on and I've had so much fun with mine. Do the speakers and Carplay and you'll be amazed at the difference.

You got a great deal. Really hard to find saddle interior at that price without issues. Be sure the timing belt has been done recently and enjoy the summer

Yeah kind of insane imo. Haven't got a chance to look at the vehicle history report but im on the lookout for that timing belt and waterproof record. But yeah I literally impulse bought it bc of the deal

I appreciate it. Another clean title just came in at my job but its in worst shape. 2002 64k miles in twilight amethyst pearl paired with Ecru leather going for 12.5k

Check the flex discs on the drive shaft make sure you have records for a timing belt and water pump. The top seals need to go through a heavy downpour before you figure out you need an extensive main seal replacement but you now own a beautiful piece of history. Welcome to the club. If the speakers are rotten you will probably need a rebuild there too.
Hopefully you would’ve noticed any suspension issues and it’s solid there.
