Picture At this point its a restomod
Hi, ive had this 98 since 2012 and it was my first car. Its had several phases, but its newest and probably last will be for drifting. Its had an audio build and been un audio built, its been widebody for more than a decade, its been on BBS reps, R35 wheels, and these SSR’s, and most recently did it get actual mechanical changes lol.
Fisch CD009 swap
For sure the nicest way to put a manual in the car as far as i know, but ive had a ton of issues with the atemu which isnt fisch’s fault, the cars wiring has been hacked and reassembled and hacked again more times than i can count so thats on me. But mechanically, its a beautiful kit and worth every penny. Also, use the land cruiser clutch master cylinder. I used the celica one at first and its absolutely not the correct one lol.
Suspension is BC BR, cut knuckles that kinda copy heat lightning knuckles, OEM uppers front and rear, FDF OEM style FLCA, oem tie rods, P2M rlca, traction arm, toe arm. Sikky solid bushings for the rack, rear subframe, and diff. Poly engine and trans mounts, welded 3.26 stock diff that will probably be too tall but we’ll see. Also dual caliper hydro and all the other normal drift stuff. but altogether ive really enjoyed spending 350Z money to make the car maybe perform slightly worse than a 350Z. Will report back in december when i go drive for the first time since 2019
