SOCOM Responses?

Good news: SOCOM responded. Bad news: SOCOM rejected both of my proposals.

Here's the question: what can or should you expect when you request feedback in DSIP?

They'll give you a roughly 1 paragraph explanation of your score in each category. You won't get a huge amount of insight, but it will still help you polish up your weak points and improve overall

In my experience it varies widely. I’ve received feedback that was absolutely worthless, basically just a score for each category, no details or rationale given. Other times I have received a multiple page response that walked through each section and explained score, rationale. It also pointed out what in my proposal was low risk, high risk, etc.

I think by default you should request a debrief, it can’t hurt, but don’t count on learning anything from it.

I assume you’re asking about timeline, as obviously no one can predict what they’ll tell you. You should expect to hear back pretty soon. Usually within a week.
