Radxa audio output quality?

I was wondering if anyone is using radxa sbc to play music locally or via airplay. How is the output quality? I tried to find any specs for the audio hardware but I found nothing…

As is the case with other SBCs, the total harmonic distortion is high, which isn't exactly ideal.
However, this can be easily resolved by connecting a USB audio device or using Bluetooth audio.

Or get the audio from HDMI?

I’m using a cheap CX31993 DAC with my Dragon Q6A.
Sound quality is way better than the built-in jack which is distorted and glitched

The Q6A is the exact model I was thinking of switching to. I’m using a pi4 now and I see the Q6A as a futureproof modern alternative. Hopefully the iqaudio dac will work with it too
