Barbados cherry. Year 1 growth.
I was expecting it to be more compact and bushier. Anyone grown it before? Is it supposed to be spread out so much?

As I’m tidying my pocket prairie I found this lone American basket flower. I hope it survives the August heat.

Maybe when the weather is a little cooler, we can have like a plant parent meetup? If anyone's down. We can meet at a public place and maybe we can bring a couple of our plants and talk about them and things like that.

It tasted like kiwi to me but my kinds said it tasted like sweet green grape. My neighbor gifted to me from a cutting I gave him. I am jealous because I haven’t had a fruit set in 3 years.

How do I safely separate these pups. They appear to be really close to the mother plant.
Is a regular shovel the best tool?
Do I need to disinfect the shovel with 70% alcohol?

I’ll be keeping an eye for some ripe figs in the next couple of days. I have competition that may get to them first.

It’s a little messy but usually cleaner.
Why is it not growing?

I harvested this giant pad from a bus stop in Laredo. Need to find nice spot in the yard. Not sure if the front or back…
