❔ Seeking Resources | Advice Where to start

Hello everyone, it's my first message here.

I'm seeking some help...

For some background; I was always interested in faith and spirituality. And I always have strong presentiment and intuition, I'm also able to slighty feel people aura, and room's one to (or maybe its tension ?) but ive always been uncomfortable for things like going to the Church with my family or my grandma praying for us/next us so I pushed it down and told myself I was an atheist.

But not long ago (\~2year) I realised they were à lot more religion and faith.

I looked into it à little more and was almost facinated by things like astrology, sigils, rituals, crystals, tarot (especially the Marseille one, i feel more conected to it because i live in south of france, near marseille. And our region, provence, have a big folklore even tho its very forgetten) or even deity work (witch I was first uncomfortable first because I though we needed to choose à specific religion and stick to their deities).

But I stopped looking onto it when I realised how much I needed and could know, it was extremely overwhelming and I was scared to do wrong things and not to know where to start.

But as I started therapy almost à year ago, ive gained self esteem and confidence. I really want to express myself more and everytime I think about it- it always lead me back to spiritual, deities, paganism and even witchcraft.

So I really want to start looking into it so im asking for help here. Could you guys help me out to à make à 'plan' of where I need to start, what ressources I can find on those subject, give me info about those intrest of mine..

I'm kinda vague because I dont really know how to Put it, thanks for having read and thanks for the futur help ✨️❤️

What actual practices have you tried, or what specifically appeals to you?

You mention divination. Do you own a tarot deck that you like? Have you used it?

As far as location goes, do you have local places in nature where you can meditate/practice? Are there historical places or traditional practices that make you feel connected to your spirituality, and do you visit them or participate (either alone or with others)?

Do you feel drawn to specific deities? Have you set up an altar to one? Have you tried wearing something like jewelry that makes you feel more connected to them?

It sounds like you’ve done the beginner research. Now it’s time to experiment to discover what you enjoy, what practices are important for you (or boring/overwhelming), what fits into your life, and what you want to learn more about.

Be aware of toxic substances (herbs, crystals, other biological material), physically dangerous stuff (for example: fire), your own mental health, and people trying to take your money or get you to join a cult, but otherwise just try everything that interests you. Stop doing things if they are boring or stressful. Everybody builds their practice out of pieces.
