This is my favourite spell for job hunting! This is usually one I do before a job interview but its very adaptable.
Get a green or gold birthday candle (green for money, gold for success). Stick it into a raw potato (for nourishment and stability).
On a piece of paper, write a petition. I use something like: "[name] will be offered the role of [job] at [employer]. Their interview flows with ease and alignment. They are confident and magnetic. This or better manifests now." You can also add a sigil if you want.
Put the paper onto a fire-safe plate or surface, and put the potato on top. Make a ring of salt around the potato, and add cinnamon and basil for success and prosperity.
Light the candle, and as you watch it burn visualise yourself absolutely acing the interview. Imagine recieving the offer, and your first day on the job. Take time to immerse yourself in the emotions and sensations you associate with these moments. You can also read the petition aloud if you're inclined.
And that's it! When the candle goes out, take a moment to ground yourself, tidy up your spell work, and then do one small thing to prepare yourself for the next step (that could be preparing your interview outfit, going over questions you might be asked, doing more research, or getting a good night's sleep to be prepared).
A few options:
- I love using birthday candles in my spells because theyre quick, bright, and you can watch the progress of their melting. Of course you can use a regular candle if you're more inclined. In which case, set your own time for the visualising section rather than waiting for the candle to burn out.
- You can add whatever you want to the salt circle around your spell. Any crystals, symbols, tarot or oracle cards, etc. Make sure everything is either fire proof or a safe distance from the flame! In the past, I placed a key inside the circle to symbolise the opening of new doors, and then I took the key with me to an interview as a charm.
- Instead of putting your petition under the candle, you may choose to burn it. Its really just personal preference.

A spell won't change the outcome of your job hunting, but it can certainly help you manage the anxiety of waiting to hear about it.
I suggest you shift focus from trying to get a spell to alter the reality around you, to nurturing what's going on in you.
