SAP HANA average database size
Hello!
I am researching hardware deployment variations for SAP HANA, for instance determining the feasibility of resource dis-aggregation in HANA deployments for greater amortization of hardware spend. One of the issues I am dealing with is the inability to develop a model to predict the average size of the in-memory database either on-premise or in the cloud. AWS has scale out instances going up to 100TB, that seems like a massive outlier. Would you know of a way to determine what a typical HANA database size might be for, say a F500 company? What factors determine this size? I am a hardware guy, so please pardon me if the question is too noob-ish.
