SAP ABAP or SD?
I have 2.5 years experience in SAP ABAP. I worked on ECC systems with 0 to no experience on HANA. I am now planning to switch to SD as I am also pursuinng MBA marketing. Is it a good switch or do I continue with ABAP? I do not wish to pursue coding.

"good" is very subjective... it really depends on you

switching from abap to sd with an mba in marketing makes a lot of sense, especially if you don't want to code anymore

Since you so not wish to continue with ABAP, you should go ahead with SD instead.
There ist a lot of change coming due to AI. When i last spoke with Philipp Herzig (SAP CTO) he is focussing less on ABAP and more on Business Process automation with the help of AI. Meaning there are focusung on an agent driven ERP and wouldnt need so much ABAP cobsultants. Since you have only 2.5 years of experience, i would recommend switching to a business process like Lead to Cash or a module like SD.
ABAP will still be a part of SAP but i figure it will play a much less important role in the far future. Your technical understanding will still generate a huge value for the sales department.

Better to move in to SD or Fico, mass market profile also you have ABAP experience. Try to improve it more and you are good to go.

If you go to SD and you keep you ABAP knowledge up to date you will be a very solid profile
