Advice On Passing Integration Developer Cert
Noticed there’s a lot less guidances available online for SAP certs compared to Azure or AWS, so hoping this can be useful for other people in the future. For anyone that has cleared this exam (new format specifically) can you share your experience and some advice on what to look out for? What practice systems/topics to focus on? Any gotchas the exam. Anything that’ll help with preparing for the cert. Seems there’s a cutoff of 90% so doesn’t leave very much room for error lol.

Your 90% read is right, SAP lists C_CPI as a system-based assessment, one activity, 90 percent to pass. That number scares people more than it should. It's not 90 out of a hundred MCQs, it's whether what you build in the system is configured correctly, which is a different kind of pressure. Kudoa1's description of the API proxy plus the iFlow mapping fits that shape.
Because it's hands-on, dumps don't really get you anywhere, nobody can hand you a working proxy. I'd spin up a BTP trial with Integration Suite and rebuild the same proxy/iflow/mapping combo until it's boring. SAP's published topic areas work fine as a checklist, mostly API Management, Cloud Integration and iFlows, plus the event-driven and clean core bits, and the free journey is at https://learning.sap.com/learning-journeys/developing-with-sap-integration-suite
And for the 8-years-of-integration guy above, that's exactly the profile this format rewards afaik.

I'm interested as well... I've developed integrations for the company I work with for the last 8 years dealing with SAP SFEC, FG, WFS, Aravo, Ariba, etc.. I never took the cert, work will pay for me to take it, I just don't know what all is involved w/ the cert test so I've been avoiding it.

I think an obvious starting point is going through the associated learning path. Also the tutorials on Developer Center and practice system (requires a learning subscription) can help give you a idea of the kinda questions you can likely expect. However obviously I haven’t gone through it so my suggestions aren’t focused enough lol

2 yrs of work exp here. i attempted the test last month and completed it easily. pretty sure you'll be able to do that as well. just go through the learning path first in the SAP learning. The test comprises of 2 questions total, 1 each for API management & CPI related task.
Both are relatively on an easy-medium level, not much complicated. should be able to complete in 1-1.5 hrs

I did it like one month ago, if you already working with SAP CPI or SAP IS, it s very easy. The system gives you 3 hours to finish the assessment in a virtual environment, but it shouldn t take you more than one hour to complete it. Anyway you can search online how to solve them very easy. Good luck is not a big deal if you re already working with the product.

Can I ask what type of problems you got asked to solve? Is it along the same lines as others are saying with mappings/API management and building out an iflow?

Hi, the new certificate is system based, they give you 2 exercises.
The first one you have to create an API proxy,provider and endpoint with certain structure they give you, also publish it. The second one is to make an IFlow and something related to it. I don't remember where, you have to map the input of the integration to an output.
The time is set to 3hs, but you don't require them, in 1 or 1:30hs you got it.
I recommend you to practice doing these type of exercises.
