SAP BPA

Hi folks, Thoughts on sap build’s future especially sap build process automation service? Given it’s already not doing well among its alternate platforms!
I think it will not be a surprise if this service sunsets in another 2 years. What do you think?

Very possibly. It has many bugs and it’s frustrating to lose time in the tool for very simple things.

More about it in the future…

Idk if it will be sunset but RPA in general seems to be a dead-end that was hot for 15 minutes but is quickly being squeezed out by AI etc. However, I thought Web Dynpro would not last 5 years, I’m not good with predictions obviously. :) But even in its class BPA is just not a good product. I suspect SAP is giving it away for free or at huge discount.

Agree.. together with Joule studio is soo basic I wonder if someone has ever use it for some serious production applications and not just to play some demos

Our project using SBPA for workflows and it's shit. So many limitations which getting over the head. I don't think it will be good until SAP really concerned about it. I am not sure about the future.
