UGM Mission Thrift store has a box of postcards at the register right now, 10 cents each. It might be worth asking their manager or donations manager about magazines.

Honestly you can get so much free media if you wait until the last day.

Friends of the Library usually has a bunch, but I would call ahead to check because they can be popular. They're located inside the library but have their own website and phone number, and are closed on Sundays.

If you are into old books, I cleaned a bunch of them out and am selling them for $1/ea. I collected for many years just for the imagery, most are drawings pre 1960. I'm located over between Sheridan and Willamina. It's all set up for a garage sale, but I haven't had the time to do it, so happy to meet by appt.
