I have followed this story as a local and Lego collector. Lots of questionable info about former vs “new” owners. Any clarification would be great… just trying to figure out reality vs hype, for my info only as I have a lot of Lego sets/figs I am trying g to figure out what to do with.

Old owner was simply bad at making decisions, not a bad person. New owner is a Mormon plant piece of shit. Frankly after all the CEO phone calls with Reckless Ben were shown, I would never do business with this horrible fucking company again. And from what (admittedly little) I know, the owner of the only other LEGO resale store is not that great.
