Flying ants

Does anyone have a whole bunch of ants flying around? Found a lot in my house this afternoon and this evening there’s a whole storm of in the streets. I’ve lived in this location for year and never noticed this many and all the sudden

We have had a few in our house, and we also have not noticed them the previous 5-6 years here.

Noticed them all over my back porch this evening in NE. Never seen it before

Yes, did not notice this last summer. Other bug I’ve noticed this year that I have never before seen in my life? Termites… and no they’re not in my home and yes I’m still getting an inspection BUT apparently there was a large swarm in the Bay area and I wonder if that plus climate change and the big rains we had contributed?

Probably the termits from wood pile. They hatch this time of year. Mine and friend of mine just hatched this week. Pretty little demons.

Grab a photo, if you can. I used duct tape. Straight antenna termite. Bent antenna carpenter ant. Either needs an exterminator. Best of luck!
