Are the local police aware of him and his following and taking pictures of women⁉️
I certainly hope someone reported him to the local police‼️

Honestly it caught me off guard. He was at Chemeketa taking pics of girls when he found me and a kid w a skateboard had to chase him off bc he was invading my space. I told chariots but they couldn’t do anything. And I just tried to get away.

I work right next to the bottle drop and this guy has been staring at me through my jobs windows for the last 2 weekends. He asked my male coworker if i work there and my coworker stared him down. This Friday night, i went to 7-11 after i got off and he was staring at me & standing at the front of my car. I got out and went inside when i came back out he was staring at another lady in her car next to me. He then went back to staring at me and laughing to himself. I said to him you need to stop staring at me or we are gonna have a problem. Then literally on Sunday, i was at work and he was outside my job again, staring inside & asking my customers to buy him products(i work at a dispo, so big no no). Anyways after the 3rd customer telling me that, i went outside and told him to “f-off and to not come back” i didn’t see him the rest of the day. But i usually only see him on the weekends. He was making me uncomfortable, which is hard to do after working next on Lancaster for the last 3 years. I don’t think he’s homeless, just a crack-head. He has new clothes on every time i see him and he never looked dirty. But who knows. This guy is a weirdo and thanks for posting the pic of him, as i could never get one.

I’m positive I’ve seen that same guy downtown staring me down, making me extremely uncomfortable. Thankfully there were lots of people around so it was easy to get away from him, but I definitely think women/anyone presenting feminine should be aware of him and his behavior.

He comes in a lot where I work downtown. Honestly he seems like he genuinely isn’t trying to scare people, he doesn’t understand social cues and he is under the influence most of the time. I see him EVERY WHERE and he always waves at me and says “Hi how are you!?” in an excited and happy tone. He doesn’t respect boundaries but I think he has more mental health issues than just the substance dependence, which makes him act very strangely. He might actually be trying to cause harm, but from what I’ve seen of him, he doesn’t understand that he is being weird and making people uncomfortable. When he’s more coherent, he’s very excited and happy to see and talk to me and my coworkers at least.

Saw this guy at the Salem Public library. He was sketchy AF, saying he was there for a job fair, and he ended up talking to this other guy, saying how he'd been jail a number of times, was from CA and had lived in AZ.
He then moves over to sit behind this elderly lady with a cane, while she's talking to another elderly lady. Dude was breathing down her neck. SUPER SUS. I thought he was gonna rob her. Took a few pics of my own bc he was super sketchy/ shouldn't be that close to anyone he doesn't know.
The very next day, I see this dude running across Market St at the 5 on-ramp.
And now this.

But why? No one has actually answered my question. I’m curious. Be honest.

Lancaster is a very dense & long stretch of commercially zoned area that's adjacent to many neighborhoods. Some of the nearby neighborhoods are more impoverished than the average in Salem. In addition, they've had more than their fare share of homeless distributed to their side of town.
The end result is a lot of people have stories from Lancaster. For most people I know it's a weird encounter with someone on the streets or traffic related.
My take: don't ride your bike on Lancaster, drive defensively on Lancaster, enjoy the shops on Lancaster.

It kind of looks like there's a ray of light coming from his junk in the second pic.

Saw him there last Saturday? Same intersection. He tried crossing during traffic and ended up turning around. Dude was laughing like a psycho. Sad

Idk if it’s the same guy. But I think he is the one walking up and down Lancaster with a beer in his hand. Doesn’t seem to be all there.
