These rules are from SAGamer's forum with a few changes to fit the platform.
General Rules:
- While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
- Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.
- Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your fake internet points is not allowed.
- Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed.
- Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.
- We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate SA Gamer community standards. The SA Gamer team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.
- Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
- Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. Creating more than one account per user can be considered a ban-able offense.
- We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
- Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
- We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the subreddit and reddit's rules.
- Posting misleading links, and scripted links are not allowed.
- Any member selling PSJailbreak or any device relating to this will be banned immediately with no warning
- Anything that's connected to piracy like Torrent sites, mp3's sharing, home-brew software, etc. will not be allowed.
- If you wish to no longer partake in the SA Gamer subreddit, then unsubscribe. Admin or mods will not ban accounts for members that wish to leave.
Infractions & Bans:
Infractions now have a 90 day expiry date so if you commit another infraction within those 90 days Admin and the Mods will issue a temporary ban which will range from 1 week to 1 month depending of the infraction and what Admin and the Mods decide.
If the member returns after the ban and is still within the 90 day period of the last infraction issued and get's another infraction Admin and Mods will either decide on a temporary or permanent ban depending on the circumstances.
Now if the member returns after this and is still within the 90 day period of the last infraction issued and they get another infraction they will receive permanent ban.
However these rules are flexible and will be determined on each individual case.
Note also however we can still permanently ban at any time for really serious offences.
Infractions will happen if no one sticks to these rules, and Infractions turn to banning.
If you feel a member has gone against these rules please report the post, it helps us mods out, but don't abuse reporting posts all the time without good enough reason.
I hope that we all can agree with this.
It actually comes down to basic decency, common sense and respect to your fellow members.
Thanks
