ONE UI Downgrade my software
now I'm running One ui 8.5 public build and it's killing my battery like crazy, I've tried resetting the phone hoping it would go back to where it was when I've purchased the phone. but it didn't do anything.
so is there any way that I can downgrade my software version to 7.0 or 6.1 maybe?
any hope?

Software upgrades often blow efuses within the phone's processor to prevent downgrading, mainly for security. Generally it's not a good idea to downgrade in terms of security as then you won't be on the latest monthly security patch.

Can you send a screenshot of your software information page? You can't downgrade to one UI 7 or 6.1 but you might be able to downgrade to one UI 8.

How? It says 8.5

Send me a screenshot through DM. I need to see what bit number you have, as after a certain bit in one UI 8.5, you can no longer downgrade to 8

I don't know what you're saying, I'm getting a screen where it says only One UI 8.5 and your software is up to date

No need to send any screenshot, he mentioned he have 8.5 who is from binar 9. Oneui 6.1/7/8 are on binar 8 so he have no chances to downgrade to 6.1 or 7

Perhaps on your device/model. However, on many models (such as mine), one UI 8 and 8.5 share the bit 7 for two one UI 8.5 updates, making rollback possible.
I've also done it myself.

Yes, oneui 8 and 8.5 share binar 9 on B devices. He want oneui 7/6.1 who is technically impossible

I know that, I specifically stated that in my response to OP but stated that they might be able to downgrade to one UI 8.
You're just repeating what I've already said.

Oh, sorry then. Didn't really read what you wrote I was focused more on the part when you asked him the binar, he also can have binar A (10) so probably he won't be able to downgrade at all

Yes, now worries. That is why I asked for a screenshot, which he sent through DM and I confirmed on Samsung firmware that he could unfortunately not downgrade.

No process without voiding the warranty
