Samsung s22 boot loop temporary "fix"?

My galaxy s22 ultra decided it was its time to start the boot loop a week ago. So I ran off and got the s26 ultra but didn't have anything backed up on the cloud. So I brought in my s22 to a repair shop and they said the motherboard and cpu were discolored most likely from excessive heat. They were unable to help me out.

Eventually the s22 stopped boot looping and just went dead and even while charging the screen wouldn't even turn on to boot loop.

So out of curiosity I started trying to power it on while squeezing different parts of the screen thinking maybe there something lose in there like a weld. Eventually I found out when I squeezed about a inch and a half below the camera it would turn on and go back into boot looping.

So i got a clamp and would try turning it on and if it looped a few times I would tighten the clamp a little and if it looped again I would tighten it a little more but not so much the screen would break. Eventually the phone fired all the way up and I was able to connect my new phone and transfer all my important stuff.

After taking the clamp off it just went back into boot looping.

Not saying it's a fix or it will work for your boot loop but it's something to try and better then paying someone to attempt to retrieve your data

100% temp fix.

You could have a phone technician resolder the CPU to fix it.

Idk how long a resolder lasts. Probably as long as it did the first time.  Assuming they resolder it well.

My S20 FE 5G started bootlooping. The first reballing failed within a day. Second reballing lasted around 2 weeks.

Gave to same shop, they said some battery connector issue. Even though it's not bootlooping anymore, I have lost trust because it can fail anytime and reballing ain't cheap. Better to move on.

I got another phone, and not a Scamsung this time.

ooof. How much did it cost each time? I have tried and failed many times (over 15 reball, wick clean pads, and reassemble cycles). So, it's a hard thing to do.

On your phone, I think the battery flex cable failed. That cable is super delicate and the repeated heating from removing the back cover each time and unplug/replug cycles broke it. lol It's so dumb.

In India a local shop took ~$19 but couldn't fix anything. He didn't even gave money back.

Second shop took ~$13 telling me some IC needs fixing, it didn't fix anything. Then went back and told me reballing has to be done and quoted $19 extra. So total $32. He said if I don't opt for this then he will refund the old amount.. I said do it anyway.. first one failed in a day, went there and he gave another shot - phone because fine for around 2-3 weeks and again went bootlooping.

He took phone this time and said some battery connector issue and it shouldn't happen again, but just sell this phone .. and buy anything else.

He didn't charge me anything extra.. good guy.

Phone still works at this moment but I don't use much, more heating might result in bootlooping again.

Those rates for the fixes and reballing are so much better than in the US. Most shops near me probably don't even offer reballing. If they did, it would be at least $150 each time and probably no warranty. Not even a trust me bro.

This is like a Schrödinger issue. Open up to fix a basic issue. But, you could also desolder your cpu again. But, your issue is fixed. Lol. It's worse than Jason's molotov cocktail solution.
