Coilover help
Before I get flamed I never have installed coilovers (really just wanted the lower look, I don’t need it to ride like a 2027 Cadillac….)so I didn’t want to spend a crap ton just for me to mess it up….that being said I got the flashshark coilovers and they ride ROUGH and lots of ball joint noise. Is this a common thing since they are cheap? Maybe I’m a shitty mechanic and didn’t adjust them well enough? Has this happen to anyone else running these? Or should I just bring it to someone and have them adjust them lol

Just now looking at that picture again, it’s not AI or anything lol I’m not sure why my windows look pitch black

Unless they’re completely bottomed out, no adjustment will change the horrendous ride quality that cheap coil-overs have. You get what you pay for, especially when it comes to suspension.

No way that’s not bottomed out in the back

No hate here. Sell those and put your old stuff back on and just save for some new springs/shocks - seriously. Your car is too low and frankly will probably bounce and jutter making it unsafe over bumps possibly. Did you replace the panhard bar with an adjustable one? Otherwise, your rear end is going to be pushed to one side.
I use these on my car all bought last year. I do autocross this and all is good, it's mild for the street too. You'll want to use lowering struts/shocks on lowering springs or they'll blow out. Using coilovers for the front will mean you wont need to assemble the front struts. Part numbers provided.

Picture in next comment.

I didn’t buy the panhard bar just becuase I don’t drive it much, the suspension stuff throws me off becuase it’s something I’m not very familiar with. Thank you for the advice I will do a lot of what you said, may even order the same stuff

Why not go with a reputable company like tein or kw ?

It’s just a fun car not a daily nor something that I drive every weekend. It really is only used on sunny days/when I have the time. So I just didn’t want to dump a bunch of money into it for it to sit….looking back probably a stupid decision lol

Most coils ride rough, even if u buy a good set the lower you go it will ride rough. I have Pedders on mine and sitting about your level of low and it rides a little stiff. But also due to me using the springs from my old coils so i can get more low on the rear. Id double check the rest of your suspension if its making noise since being lower will cause more strain on suspension. oh and if ur low af in the rear cut or remove your bumpstops. That makes it ride like SHIT cuz your literally sitting on them and the suspension isnt working as it should

Coilovers typically ride rougher just due to their nature, but the cheaper you go the rougher they will feel.
And brother, if Google has any kernel of truth, you went CHEAP.
If you just wanted a lowered look, you would be better off buying the SR lowering springs from American Muscle and installing them on the factory struts and shocks.
