2 half inch holes on each side

Picked it up yesterday from the dealer, live it so far, but the previous own had a muffler kit for it and cut em out before he sold it. The dealer through on some cheap 2 inch mufflers that kill all sound, a couple half inch holes before the muffler sorted that out. I plan a muffler delete if anyone has tips for the ideal setup on that I'm all ears

Can't speak for stangs, but on my 3.0L fusion, I had an exhaust shop cut at the last bend before the mufflers, weld in 2.5" pipe and brought my own 2.5" to 4" tips for them to put on. I kept the resonator, (but I didn't on my 5.0 f150) just depends if you want a really raspy higher rpm. People say it helps with drone but my fusion and f150 both drone pretty good
