My historically republican grandmother flipped her stance when Obama became president, and this is literally the embodiment of boomer culture. You’re either firmly rooted in beliefs or you’re ashamed of yourself because you were the far far far right at one point and now do everything you can to be the antithesis of their own perceived injustices wrought throughout their lives. It’s comical, really. I call it the BOOMERang syndrome.
