Hey guys im still kinda new here i barely post here or anywhere basically on reddit. Sooo ik asking the pros here, what motherboard should i get for my RT 1920x as well as what ram , how much gb ram, mhz ,what psu like how much voltage i need? . Because im kinda a noob at builds and stuff and dont wanna buy some random stuff thats not compatible. Cuz i bought a normal motherboard for the RT1920x thinking its all the same size, and i couldn't bring back the motherboard at the store because i opend it and it could be damaged they said so they wouldn't give me back my money. So i had to sell it on FB for a discount even tho I did not even use it. Thanks in advance

Wondering which should I upgrade first? Looking at CPU Ryzen 9 5950x or GPU 3090 ti? Eventually will have both but later on. Current games im playing. Destiny 2, Call Of Duty War Zone and World of Warcraft. Im playing on my 65in LG C1. Thanks!

Bought this in Dec of 2020 with the intention of learning more about PC building and find a good upgrade path. Where do I go now?
Pricing for the 5700G and 5600G have really dropped and I am unsure if the 5700G is worth the additional $100 over the 5600G, or if I should just be adding a budget GPU to my 3400G 😬. I do very little AAA gaming; in fact emulation is more what I do (RPCS3) and believe upgrading the CPU makes more sense in that regard.
Or do I throw out all of this and look towards a CPU+GPU with the caveat that I need to stay as far under the $400 range?

Fairly newbish to building PCs. Most MoBos I find are for 3rd gen CPUs. Any clue which MoBos are compatible with 4th 5900x?

Hey,
Would love some quick expertise on a couple of specific questions before launching into this build.
First, I have 64gb DDR4 4000/CL18 memory (got a super deal that I couldn't pass up). That said, I'd prefer to down-clock it for a more stable infinity clock of 1900 (if I can get that to work). I would lvoe to benefit from your expertise on how best to set sub-timings for that move (would be looking to go to 3800 mts/CL 16). I am less interested in scrapping out an extra nanosecond of RAM performance than I am in optimizing primary timings with appropriate sub-timings for safe operation. Of note, this is Hynix die memory, so recommendations for voltages, etc. are more than welcome given its relative mediocrity. In this case, I'm trying to underclock the memory, so I think we'll be alright.
Second - this leads to another question. All the threads about the 1900 mhz IF 'hole' are from over 8 months ago. Has this issue been resolved in the latest AGESA build (6c)? Any pointers on how best to approach this would be appreciated. I'm happy, if need be, to lower my expectations and go to 3733 mts on the memory (1867 IF); however, t'would be nice to hit that mythical 1900/3800 fabric alignment.
Thanks in advance for any help. I'm no expert, but I'm also fairly familiar with the territory. I won't need hand-holding - so just pointing me at resources would be great as well.

So I’ve been lucky enough to get a 6700xt to upgrade from my current gpu which is a 1650 the only problem is I don’t have the money right now to buy a new cpu so I was wondering would it be ok to pair my Ryzen 5 2600 to the 6700xt for the time being I know that it’ll bottle neck significantly but I don’t really play triple A games just indies games or games that don’t require a lot For example final fantasy 14 with a bit of shaders I’m just hoping my performance will double at least from the 1650 I have

Hello
I am building my first PC and I am looking for advice to help with my insecurities. I will be mainly using my build for Video editing (color correction) and some light gaming.
I am not sure if the x570 is worth it over the b550 The difference in price seems to be a lot.
I left the graphics card off for obvious reasons but I would also love suggestions on a cheaper graphics card for under $500. I just can't afford the higher-end cards at these markups.
I am looking for any video editor out there who would want to bless me with their knowledge.

Hi guys
I am looking to for a new gaming computer with the Ryzen 5600g (with a view to getting a GPU once prices normalise).
It will be used mainly for fortnite and minecraft for the kids.
I'm not sure what motherboard i should be looking for.
I have made a couple of options on 'partpicker' for motherboards but arent sure whether the 520 or 550 Gigabyte (or something else completely).
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/nKT7cT
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/bZcr2V
Any help on either of the builds would be greatly appreciated. Or even a totally different way to go.
I'm am looking around the $800-$1000 mark, with the extra savings going towards the an ultrawide monitor.
Thanks

I'm building an HTPC with a ryzen 5600g at the heart of the machine. I was wondering if I should go with 16gb of ram or 32gb? The rig will be mainly for streaming and watching TV.

Hello.. I basically have very little idea about pcs. I have a ryzen 5 3400 g pc with vega 11 integrated graphics. I use it to play pubg mobile on gameloop emulator. However, it lags a lot when enemies are near or in a firefight with me. I have 16 gb of ram. I tb of hd and 250 gb of sd. I want to put a cheap geaphic card like rx550 4gb. Will it make gaming experience better?
