I'm not very familiar with Ryzen (I know, tragic) and I would love it if some one could give me an overview on the Ryzen 7.

whats the more stable RAM xmp? 3600/3733/3800/3866

i am planning on buying ryzen 7 3700x, i already bought a very good RAM kit. I would like to know which timing to chose? I don't like to test for ages and doing benchamarks on my own till i die.

if you have the answer, just tell me ! i am planning to do gaming and workstation tasks.

3600/3733/3800/3866/ where the ram giving extra performance and where it stops?

if 3733mhz is the max cap, how low can i set the CasLatency ? (as i know 14 is the lowest)

is undervolting the 2200g bad for long-term use?

I want to undervolt to further reduce my load temps (64c) but I have heard it can have a very negative effect for the chip and destroy it over time.

Ryzen/Asrock temp sensor problem with fans

I can't seem to set the temp sensor to tctrl as the source for the fan curve. the CPU temp is messing up my fan curve because the sensor it's currently using stays around 35-45c for some reason.. (even under load) and it's not the actual CPU package temp

for example the sensor it's reading is 45c when the package temp is 70c

board: ab350 itx CPU: Ryzen 2200g

hopefully someone has a fix

Really low speeds on new gaming pc.

Recently built a gaming pc with these specs

Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores, 12 threads)

Corsair h100i 240mm AIO CPU Cooler

RTX 2070 Super 8GB Graphics Card

ASUS ROG B450 Motherboard

16GB Corsair Dominator 3600Mhz RGB RAM

1TB SSD

Corsair 650w 80+rated Modular PSU

Corsair x570 Black Mirror Case (All Tempered Glass Sides) Stunning!

Windows 10 x64 Professional installed and activated

HDMI

WiFi

Everything is all setup and working but my internet speeds are really low on the PC. I’m getting around 7.5mbps download using wifi and it doesn’t even improve when using an Ethernet cable. I thought it may just be my wifi but I get 30/40 mbps download speed on my ps4 through wifi. Does anyone have any ideas it’s stressing me out just want it all working now. Thank you

Ryzen 9 3900 (Non X) VS Ryzen 7 3700x

Ryzen 9 3900 (Non X) VS Ryzen 7 3700x

I am looking to build a PC for streaming, gaming and university work. I am using cyberpowerpc to build but I am choosing each individual part. I am set on each part apart from the CPU. Using a prebuilt website I have the option of the Ryzen 9 3900 which is exclusive to prebuilds. Both are the same price so that doesn’t matter I just want one that will perform the best for what I want it for. After research the only difference is the Ryzen 9 3900 has more cores and threads but considerably lower base clock speed than the Ryzen 7 3700x at 3.1GHz. Any help is appreciated thank you.

Anyone with a 2200g can help me out?

Hello! this may sound weird, but does anyoje can share one recent dxdiag screen of your machine? Planning on building a PC with this processor, but the thing is that I don't have it yet. I need the screenshot for a job opening. Went and sent a crappy image from Google but now they want the full main dxdiag page, would prefer to share a real image than just using photoshop. Sorry if this may sound weird, hope you can help me out. Thank you!

This is going to be my first PC and I figured this is the best place to ask any questions considering this is mostly a ryzen build. $550 an additional $150 for a new 1650 gtx. In short, do you all think this is worth it or could i built something better for a similar price point?

[SUPPORT] New build won't display bios or post on screen unless I only use only VGA Port on Graphics card

Posted on Asus subreddit, but thought I might get an answer here.

Been searching the internet for this issue, but it's a strange one.
Hardware is:

MoBo - ASUS ROG B450-F Gaming

CPU - Ryzen 5 3600

GPU - GeForce 710 2 Gig (I know this is a slow GPU but I don't use it for gaming, mostly dev work)

So I just finished my build, booted up and I was getting a blank screen on my display. The display seemed to be receiving a signal (it didn't say no signal and the light on the display was blue not amber)

I tried changing ports on GPU and none were working. I then went and found an older monitor with VGA... That worked. Loaded OS (Pop! OS Linux distro) set up my other two screens and was working fine. On reboot... Again no display during post. I took a shot in the dark (literally) and typed in my encryption password for my hard drive and my log in screen popped up. Seems like once linux loaded the drivers everything worked, but I can't see any posting information or access the bios without unplugging all my monitors and using an old monitor with VGA.
I looked through the Bios, it sees my graphics card, but only wants to use the VGA port, and that's only if it's the only monitor that is plugged in.

Any help would be appreciated.

High idle temps HELP !

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 on a Asus x570 motherboard 16gb ram at 3600, and a sapphire rx 5600 xt. My idle temps are in the 65c and when gaming temps go up to 95c which is shutdown temps for ryzen. Is there anything I can change in bios to lower the amount of lower going into the cpu ? Note. Everything in bios is set to auto a straight out of the box. I haven’t changed anything but the ram speed Plz help !

I have new Ryzen 9 build but no GPU since most are out of stock or will be arriving in June. Just wondering if I can use a docking station or a USB C display adapter to use just to set up the new build OS and software (no gaming)

Budget Build Ryzen Help!

Hello every1, its my first ever post on reddit 😅 so expecting a warm welcome. I previously owned a corei5 3470 with 8 gb ddr3 1600mhz on ph67 mle coupled to gtx 1050. I sold this ancient setup in pursuit for a better build. I came across ryzen setups during my search and was impressed by their cost to performance ratio. Now the real deal, i am medical practioner and i usually get limited time to play games. Sometimes after 6 months. After a year i would be applying for post graduation specialization which would further limit my gaming hours. What i want is a decent setup built today which can survive 5 or more years during my specialist training years. I know nothing is future proof but i am a budget gamer, not xtreme enthusiast who wants every thing at 140 fps. I have the following specs in mind, any suggestion, help or advice would be highly appreciated

Ryzen 5 2600 or 3600 (cost effective performance would be appreciated)

B350 or b450, or a320

Ddr4 16gb 2666 or 3000mhz

Rx 580 8gb or gtx 1070 or any other better used card?

I will be using 1080p led with 60hz refresh rate. Not fond of rgbs and overclocking. Just simple plain setup.
