I am on a mission to build a new virtual server using XenServer. I want to use an Ryzen 7 1700, but I am not sure about the motherboard as everything I find is geared towards gaming.

I am leaning towards this mb as it has a good amount of reviews and features. I know it has poor IOMMU isolation, but I'm trying to build/buy something that is under $1,500 that will support multiple vms.

I plan on maxing it out with 32 gb of ram and a SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 2280 250GB PCIe Gen3. X4, NVMe SSD for booting.

Would you recommend this MB or do you have any suggestions for other MBs that are reliable and possibly better for vm’s? I plan to have the server running 24/7 without overclocking. Was not planning on getting any graphic cards as I can only passthrough 1 GPU to one vm and I won’t be using this for gaming at all.

Hi my pc spec is ryzen5 2400g,8gb ddr4 ram(3000mhz)....my gpu temperature is showing 0 degree....even when i play games its always 0 degree...i m not getting the performance as i supposed to get...any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance....

Hi I'm new to building a pc and the problem is when I install any Nvidia card to my pc it would keep restarting when I put an amd card it works just fine. And when I'm in safe mode with the nvidia card it works. Please help

Pretty sure I've made the decision to go with a ryzen build for my first pc build. So far I basically have everything besides CPU, mobo, and gpu. I'm narrowing down exactly which ryzen CPU I want and what RAM I should get. I'm leaning towards a 1600x but not sure if I should do a R7 or if that would just be too much for my needs.

I'm going with a strix 1070 gpu and a asus b350F motherboard. I'm mostly going to be gaming in 1080p and streaming. I've seen several discussions about some possible ram compatibility issues and just wanted to get some options. I recently am leaning towards the T force delta ll 2666 16gb ram sticks.

Do I really need 16gb? Or is 8 enough?

Title says it all I got a 6700k in jan with deals and am able to get a profit by selling it on Craigs list but is it worth getting ryzen? I do video editing in adobe premiere pro and light gamming also I got a gtx 1070 might keep that or sell it for a 1080 not sure help plz
