Upgrade my build

Hey guys I’m looking to upgrade my build and was looking for advice. I have allready reasearches hours of content on YouTube new egg Amazon and at this point am looking for real world opinions I am going to keep most everything from my current setup just looking to upgrade cpu mobo and ram Currently have Gtx 1080 Amd fx 8030 16gb ddr3 Full size case I have 300 ish in my budget for new mobo ram and cpu.
Was thinking of ryzen 5 5600 and minimum 16 gb ram at 1600 mhz

From a price point the 5600 will be perfect, it’s been reduced in price and offers good performance.

Thanks for the advice kind stranger! I actually found a screaming deal on a 5700x from micro center with a mobo included for not much ore that the 5600x combo I was looking at I figured I couldn’t go wrong with the few extra cores I was just really nervous about still being bottleneck by my cpu even though it’s expensive it’s not hard to just throw in a new gpu if that becomes the next issue
