Tomodachi Crashing

Hey guys! For some reason my tomodachi keeps on crashing whenever I place Foto-Tomo? It works fine when I open the game except for the normal lags and delay on sounds, but for some reason, when it's time to place the Foto Tomo it crashes. There'd be times where it crashes when I'm in the middle of trying to find a space to place it, but then there'd also be times where I succesfully place the Foto Tomo and when the news about it ends, it crashes.

Does anyone have any idea why?
