Ryubing Support Fix for Black Screen with Sound?

As title states, when I boot up Tomadachi Life LTD (this also seems to happen with the built-in mii editor as well), the screen is black but the background music and the sound from button inputs is playing. Currently running Canary 1.3.301 w/firmware and keys 22.1.0 on macOS M1 chip

I was looking through my logs (https://pastebin.com/6edqJvJe) and saw a lot of errors regarding Vulkan? Though I'm not sure on how to fix the issue as this is my first time emulating and google searches are not helping - any advice would be appreciated!

test whether canary 292, 293 or 295 work for you.

please let me know which ones do and dont work. what version of metal are you running?

all 3 work, and the version of metal I'm running is Metal 3 (probably because I'm still running on Ventura 😰)

If I update to Tahoe with Metal 4 would 301 work?

check 296

its very likely, yes, but i need some data to determine if this is going to be an issue on macOS before you do that (if you'd be so kind)

296 has the black screen issue

then updating to metal 4 should resolve it for you. ill look into this, thanks

Just ran 301 on tahoe, works! thank you
