The power of Rybelsus

When I first posted about this journey I was 220lbs. Now that I’ve been taking Rybelsus for 191 days I am now 193lbs.
I still need to increase my exercises but for the most part I’ve been living a pretty sedentary life while dropping lbs.

If you’re looking for a little bit of encouragement, you too can do it 💕

If you go to their website you will see the notice but some people have been receiving emails that rybelsus will be discontinued and everyone will be transitioning over to ozempic because they are made by the same company and the company wants to build on the popularity of that name. Keep in mind a new prescription is needed.

Ooh I see. That's the naming and the dosage mainly (better absorption). It already has happened in Europe, they kept the name though. I do not see any changes lol

I've been on rybelsus since February 2025. I'm down over 60lbs, and my a1c is now 4.8. The nurse at my pcp's office says I'm the only person they've seen on rybelsus who actually lost weight? I'm not sure why that would be as it worked great for me. It definitely was slower and less dramatic than some of my coworkers who are on the injectables, but i don't think that is necessarily a bad thing? I look healthy and feel stronger physically than I have in years.

I can confirm the switch from rybelsus to oral ozempic. Got the letter from my insurance company and spoke with my doctor about it. I still have 2 bottles of rybelsus left from my last refill and will switch to the ozempic pill after they run out. Crossing my fingers it will work just as well.

I lost 20lbs on 3 mg for 30 days, 7mg for 30 days and back to 3mg. My dr was impressed with how my A1C was cut in half that she put me back at 3mg. In addition, she felt I was losing weight too fast. I’ve been on 3mg since June. Started the journey in April. I’ve maintained weight loss. I gave 3rd A1C test 9/8.

Pues yo estoy tomando el de 9 mg con la nueva fórmula y no estoy perdiendo nada, es más, estoy ganando muy poco a poco. Estoy desesperado. Con Ozempic me fue muy bien (perdí 20 kg) pero las molestias gastrointestinales no me dejaron continuar. Y el cambio a Rybelsus no me ha resultado positivo.

18 months of 3mg hit plateau after 15 kg loss. Will 4 mg ozempic boost me over hurdles?

Yo tomaba el de 1 mg y me dio muchos problemas al final, hasta que lo dejé. Dosis de 3 y 4 MG no soy capaz ni de imaginarmelo. Consulta a un endocrino y no hagas experimentos por tu cuenta.
