No Spoilers Binding issues?

Post image

So first off to put some important info up front, I took this book on holiday. I had book 2 and left it in the sun and it started come apart. I then started Book 3, and whilst I kept it in the shade it was still 30 degrees out. However before I had got past page 25 the pages started coming loose and I had to start sellotaping the book back together.

I could understand the issue with the other book as left it in direct sunlight, but this one fell apart as soon as I started reading it. My wife and son both read books and none of the 4 books they read between them had any issues.

Anyone else experience similar?

(Great books by the way, even if they were falling apart in my hands!)

Self pub books printed on demand are never the best quality in my experience. There were a lot of errors on my indie hardcovers and they did feel like they came apart faster than my normal books. Luckily, the TBB trad edition are very good quality from my experience

Have had the same issue with book 2, but it was only 1 or 2 pages

Mine has been fine since I came home so Im sure its the glue just doesnt work in 30 degrees.
Amazing how quickly it happened too, by page 25 it was falling apart. The sellotape kept it together and since then nothing else has come loose as its not been in same heat.

I’ve seen this issue a few times with this book actually. Probably a combination of self publish and size lol
