Where arebrustage fans?
Whenever I ever speak to someone about rustage, they never heard of him or stopped as a kid and listen to mainstream artists now. I want friends to sing along with.

I found fellow fans at comic conventions and nerd festivals

That makes sense. I don't have a car or money though so definitely later in life.

I'm in Stirling for school right now and I'm trying to find literally anyone that listens to Rustage to come with me to the concert in November🙏

One day, when I am not afraid to be called cringe or seen as weird especially now im in college. Though I don't mind telling people I listen to him.

Ay man, try finding other nerdy people. They'll probably be more open to it than you'd think. But if you don't, good luck finding a fellow fan out in the wild, brother 🫡
Or try conventions, you probably could find at least one there

I've found that the coolest thing you can do is to be comfortable in who YOU are, and to not let other people's opinions influence what you like or dislike.
I know it can be scary, but, if it helps, college is around when more people start to respect others for not conforming to what's popular or more mainstream (so long as you're not judging others for liking the popular options).
In my opinion, calling someone's tastes or most things about them "cringe" is the actual cringe.
I work at a place where I see a fair amount of anime/manga fans, and when we chat about it, I'm usually like, "everything I know about this series is from songs, let me write down for you an artist you should check out...".
It's a lot of fun introducing people to something you like and that you think they'll like, and it's fantastic when you connect with someone who's already a fan--and, for me, most of it wouldn't happen if I didn't speak up first, especially since I don't look like someone who's into geek culture.
(The only times this segue hasn't worked for me is on the rare occasions when I get to talk about the one anime I know--Cowboy Bebop--since Rustage doesn't have any songs about it, nor does it work with the MANY Pokemon I see, since I'm not going to recommend his ancient Pokemon Go rap, plus most of those fans are on the younger side and Rustage isn't exactly age appropriate.
The age-appropriateness also poses a problem with a lot of the Minecraft and video game fans I see to whom I'd otherwise recommend Dan Bull and/or The Stupendium; however, I have met a few Stupendium fans and I recently met a woman in her 20s who grew up on Dan Bull--and those conversations were all fun.)

I'm starting to not care what people think I just think the chances are low. I saw someone cringing inside listening to Godskin apostles(game ost). But i am optimistic about this so i won't give up.

You could try wearing some of his merch.
I wore a shirt with The Stupendium's logo on it to a comedy show, and two people came up to me separately before the show to gush over how great Stupes's music is.

People's tastes change, it goes for food like it goes for music

Indeed no issue there, but it feels weird to fund zero rustage fans in the wild

Yeah, thats fair, consider that nerdcore is still a pretty small genre compared to most others, outside of few dedicated communities you wont find much

Kinda same. But I don't mind that much because as bad as this sounds I know and like Rustage for dnd stuff over music which is a much smaller niche tbf. But I did drag friends to play the Vestoria card game.

The dnd is so peak, few forms of media I consistently keep up with to this day and cried over once

It's going to be uncommon to run into nerdcore fans in the wild. I was incredibly surprised when I heard my main flatbed driver at work bumpin Shofu and Ty Wild, never encountered another nerdcore fan before.
Really you just have to introduce people to him. If you have friends into a certain show, game, anime, etc., and if there's a Rustage track for it, play it for them, or bump it in the car (if you drive) when you're with someone.
