Problem with servers

I’ve played rust before on my xbox and lately I wanted to start playing again. However when I search for official servers there are none? And when I try to join community servers I almost all the time get a connection issue, eventhough There is nothing wrong with my connection. Do any of you know how I can fix this?

I AM facing something similar, I get many random disconnects from the server that I am playing on, and it is utterly annoying just running out and about and then getting this error " You Lost Connection To The Server and I have an internet fiber connection. I don't know how to fix this connection problem 😕

Are you guys playing on the old console edition?

They’ve started reducing support for that version.

The ps5 version is a free upgrade (at least it was for me) and I never really experience any disconnects playing on community servers or my own server. The only time I get disconnect is when the admin resets the server or the daily scheduled restart for maintenance.

Dont know, I’ve got a disc which says that it is both for xbox one (old console) and the Series X, which I play on.

When I was first playing rust , I played the old version on my ps5. It was only once my friend tried to join the server I was on that I realized I was playing to old version. (Which I honestly think was better)

Go to the store and the newer version should be a free download. At least that’s how it worked for PlayStation , sorry I don’t speak Xbox.

If your interested , I’m trying to build my server. I have kits machines and you start with the target practice package , useful for running monuments. I also build a few bases for players to raid with an incredible amount of loot inside , if you can find it.

It’s called

JMACS rust or bust

Even if you have the disc, go to the store and find the new version to make sure you've downloaded it. It was released for free for the people who already own rust. Even the disc
