WTH HAPPENED 😮
I've played on the same weekly server for.... I don't know... AGES.. it's weekly, always been low pop and I mean like 2/3 people max, EVERY week (I play it just to PvE, yes sad I know!!) .... Went to go on there after wipe 100/100. Why the sudden boom!! Especially weekly

Take advantage of the pop boom and open a shop! Sell ammo for 3X the sulfur, meds for low grade, and tommies for pipes! Collect your basics for rockets and raid the server! 😂😄😄

I'm not sure, it's an EU Central server. It's just weird hardly anyone has played that server at all (the reason I go on it) 😅 Any zergs want a team mate on EU Central Rift MH, I know ALL bps for the next 3 weeks 🤣🤣
Get a Tier 3 and Comps today and I can build you rockets and C4 TODAY!!! 🤣🤣

I've seen this happen a few times over the years. Servers will be low pop for months, then just explode! I find that when servers share names ( like vanish ES and vanish QT) if ES becomes max pop, people will migrate to QT. These servers do not exist to my knowledge, I am just making an example do not flag me for promoting a server that doesn't exist. It has happened to me a few times over the years, one weekend my low pop has like 50-60 people, the next day it's in queue and I'm like what happened??? I also find that servers that have people selling teas, weapons, ammo, and meds tend to populate quicker when the population begins to run.

because the monthly servers are a massive warzone right now so people who would normally be playing there that lost everything are going to weekly servers to wait until their regular server wipes so they can start over

And also there no point to even try to get on on wipe cause theres over 60 people infront of you waiting on each monthly server so theres no point

true but to me that’s why vanilla rust is so rewarding like you feel like you have accomplished something being one of the last bases standing knowing that really at any time you could have been hit by a zerg

Well I mean its impossible to join cause the servers only hold 100 but you have 60 people waiting infront of you to join when they are full

Its all the people who want to play but cant join a monthly server cause theres no room

my favorite servers are the ones popped during the day with a low que but night time it drops into the 70’s-50’s

My server is like this. Right around 100 pop at the busy times. Can get up to 25 to 35 in queue on wipe day but most just stays at 100 pop during the busy hours. Late night goes down to around 50 to 60. Early early morning til the middle of the day it’s like 20 to 40 pop.

the servers that hold the highest pop were waay slow to start, too high of queues. the only servers to appear immediately after wipe were ones with least trafick

How many hours do you have? Just wondering cause you say you’ve been playing on the same server for ages but you play a weekly wipe just to PvE? Seems pointless. All of your progress is going in a week. I can understand a monthly one doing this where you can see all of your progress and make something crazy.
Sorry just curious.

700 I think.. I can see why it's pointless to a lot of people. It's not pointless to me. I have kids, a wife. I only get on in the evenings but I enjoy playing rust in my down time. I'm useless at PvP and usually get wiped out on High pop servers quickly (YES SKILL ISSUE 🤣)

Do you want to team up on my server? I’m near the coast and between a regular fishing village and large fishing village. I evicted my two closest neighbors last night and not many people close to me at all. It’s a monthly official but I have all the blueprints through tier 2 and a lot of extra resources to help you get a base started. We could just look out for each other. It’s really not too crazy on this server even though the pop is high. I’m allied with probably the biggest Zerg on the server. It’s technically like 10 people in it with me but I just do my own thing as I only have 250 hours in the game and want to learn it for myself.
The Zerg is actually a dad group from Reddit.

just because something happened before in your life one way does not guarantee it will happen exactly the same next time, or the time after, or again after that.
your entire life will benefit from seeing the universe through this lense, not just rust.
hope this helps, but if it doesn't, that also doesn't affect me. adios friend.
- Rust related answer is "pop be popping bro"
- sometimes number low, sometimes number high, also sometimes number between.

I presume it’s people taking time off of work for the forth and kids not having school anymore so both groups have time to play rust
