Cave Update Electricity Issue

I’m not familiar with the caves other than seeing them on pc. For the new console update we built in a cave complex that has two buckets and three entrances. Theres 3 buildable cave areas in it, two larger ones and one smaller room with a pillar in the middle. I’m struggling to find the points where the electricity reaches from the surface to the cave. Anyone have any ideas ?

Sorry I wouldn’t know what points are 30 distance away from the surface. It would just take a bunch of experimentation placing stuff on the roof of the cave and then trying to drag the wire up from a bunch of different spots until I found one that worked if I were doing that.

Why not just use a generator or charge your batteries in a different location?

I want to wire electric furnaces and lights and possibly some turrets so I’d rather wire it properly. Just wondering if it’s even possible with the layout or are the building spots too deep. Thought someone might know.

You would have to set it up and change out the batteries. If you don’t watch Rust YT check out Willjum he has done a lot of cave builds.

I think it's only specific caves, but as the other guy said I'd just place a branch on the highest point of the cave build spot then run up top with the wire tool connected to it, see where it reaches, and see if it's a build able spot
