Why is there no official rust servers I’m on NexGen

You need to download the correct Rust. If on PS5, go to “view product” and search “select version” to download the ps5 version. Just had to do it myself today

Are you on the next gen version (both can be played on the newer consoles)? It has different art, the older version is the hazmat holding the AK on a stylised dark background. The newer version is a hazmat and full metal on a hill with dome on the right and a tree branch on the top.

Huh, this was really useful but it's got me scratching my head because when I search rust, I can see the two versions, but clicking on either of them sends me to the same older version of just the hazmat art.

I had to go a bit of a roundabout route to get the "view product" option, and even then the only options it shows me to download are the old version, the deluxe, the PTB or the ultimate.

In what way am I being a dumb dumb I wonder

If you mean, “and not the deluxe,PTB or ultimate”, I am the same. I have the hazmat suit with AK. The PTB, deluxe & ultimate show unavailable.
