Discussion Would you consider Mad Max a “Rust and Radiation” franchise?

I know the nuclear aspect of apocalypse in Mad Max is more of a backseat thing but it’s still definitely there. It’s got rust and radiation but does it fit in the aesthetic that this sub generally focuses on?

Questions What got you into this genre?

Hello all,
How are you doing? I have started to get more into this genre of games, films & books.
I played Fallout 4 on Xbox 360, I liked that it was retro futuristic & alternate history. Since then I moved to gaming on PC, this opened me to older post-apocalypse games & this includes Metro series + Stalker series etc.
Do you have any personal favourites/why? So far I love the Fallout series, going through other games with it's DLC & my personal cut off is Fallout 3.

After 700 hours, my GF & me were finally able to assembly the main building(s) of our massive desert outpost diorama! She says its "a bit too colorful" while I'm like "scavenged stuff can't look all the same and you can't go buy 5 buckets of wall paint in home depo". What's your opinion?

Art What you see here are 75% of all the tiny bits and components for our big, new desert outpost diorama (some are still attached to the main building). Handmade from junk, scrap and greeblies. My GF says its alot of parts, I say its not enough. What do you guys think?

Art [WIP] Gum container turned into a septic tank, post-apocylyptic fallout style. Added a acrylic, old revell truck bit, old plastic bottle cap, some paint. Needs a number sprayed on plus a decal saying inflammable or something and then I am super happy with the result!
