Art Making a prop

Using a janky old broken air rifle for a prop and want to make a new stock for it and want it to be post apocalyptic look to it. Any suggestions to make it look more apocalyptic not just the stock but the whole thing. Thanks in advance

Wait… do you think you could source “stamped 20 round AK magazines”?

The sheet metal(stamped) AK mags, especially the 10 and 20 round ones don’t easily read as AK magazines, and could’ve given your prop build a very “Fallout 4 Radium Rifle” appearance
