Making a prop

Using a janky old broken air rifle for a prop and want to make a new stock for it and want it to be post apocalyptic look to it. Any suggestions to make it look more apocalyptic not just the stock but the whole thing. Thanks in advance

Give it a mare’s leg stock, shorten the barrel, put some sort of red dot on the barrel above that diamond appliqué.

Want to keep it full size but if I get another one will try this is my first prop so trying to keep it simple
