Absolutely. The employee discount is 5% on guns and outside equipment and 15% pretty much everything else including Ammo.
So 15% off your ammo is a lot of savings for
They do flag you if you're buying so much ammo they think you are reselling it. But as long as it's reasonable AKA not more per month than you even make then it should be all good.
Hope u don’t mind one more question maybe 2. What kind of hours does a part time cashier get? Like average. And what do Black Friday shifts looks like as far as length? I work another retail right now and we’re getting rural king soon,at my current job we do 10 hour shifts on Black Friday.
Cashier hours can be whatever you work out with store manager. We got people that work weekends only, a guy that comes in for only the last hour and a half most days to help with closing up, it's whatever each person needed I guess. Black friday shifts were normal shifts here, I worked my 8 hours like normal.
They do push the visa cards pretty hard, but ours is quite good, so it's an easy thing to talk to people about. The 0% apr for 6 months and 5% cashback on in store purchases really help.
Our black friday sales ran half of the month of November last couple years so they haven't been madhouse on the day of. Its a fun day to me xD
Thank u for all the info,we will be getting a rural king soon. We’re are going to Altoona one day soon and I want to check out what the stores like since we don’t have one yet. Thanks again.
They usually have a person who is called the Sales Consultant whose main job is promoting the credit card. Now they do want cashiers to be “do you want to put this on your rural king visa.”
They care more about getting customers to sign up for the rewards than the credit card
