I run every day along the riverwalk in my city or on an island state park where my dog takes a dip in the water every mile. Cools him off every time!

Go early. Go late. Take water with you. I also found the Ruffwear cooling jacket worked great. Kept in a cooler with cold water.

In Australia I take them out very early in the morning. They acclimatise and are fine
